July 13 – Wimbledon – Day 12 – The Championships

Yesterday, July 13, 2019 The Duchess of Sussex attended the Wimbledon Ladies’ Singles Final at The Championships.

The Duchess accompanied The Duchess of Cambridge and her sister Pippa Matthews to watch Serena Williams play Simona Halep. The Ladies’ Singles Final match was a quick one as Simona Halep beat Serena Williams in 55 minutes to win her first Wimbledon title.

Meghan looked a bit distraught at her friend’s loss, but it was otherwise a great outing for The Duchess of Cambridge and The Duchess of Sussex. Meghan and Pippa looked like they get along great as well.

Hopefully, the Duchesses attending Wimbledon will become a tradition!

July 04 – Wimbledon – Day 4 – The Championships

On July 04, 2019 The Duchess of Sussex attended Day 4 of the Wimbledon Championships.

The Duchess was on hand to cheer on best friend Serena Williams as she took on 18-year-old Slovenian Kaja Juvan in the second round of the championships. Serena is one step closer in going after her twenty-fourth Grand Slam title as she won the match-up.

Meghan was joined court-side by two close friends from Northwestern University, Lindsay Roth and Genevieve Hillis. The rumor mill suspects that these two are the ‘private citizens’ chosen to be Baby Archie’s godparents.

The Duke And Duchess Introduce Their Son Archie

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry stepped out with their newborn son Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor at St. George’s Hall in Windsor Castle (where they had their royal wedding reception!) on Wednesday, two days after welcoming the new addition to the royal family. Wearing a white sleeveless dress by London-based British designer Grace Wales Bonner, Meghan was glowing as she stood beside Harry, who held their newborn son in his arms.

Asked what it’s like being a new mom, Meghan said: “It’s magic. It’s pretty amazing. I have the best two guys in the world, so I’m really happy.” She went on to say that Baby Sussex “has the sweetest temperament. He’s really calm.” Harry then added, “I don’t know where he gets that from!”
“He’s just been a dream,” Meghan said. “It’s been a special couple of days.”

When asked whether the baby takes after anyone, Meghan said: “We’re still trying to figure that out.” Harry added: “Everyone says babies change so much over two weeks. We’re basically monitoring how the changing process happens over this next month, really. His looks are changing every single day, so who knows?”

When asked about parenting, Harry said: “It’s great. Parenting is amazing. It’s only been two and a half days, but we’re just so thrilled to have our own little bundle of joy. Harry said they were looking forward to spending some “precious times with him as he slowly, slowly starts to grow up.”

March 06 – The Duchess of Sussex Steps On Stage At WE Day

Today, March 06, 2019 The Duchess of Sussex made a surprise appearance on stage at We Day in London. Kensington Palace had announced last week that Prince Harry would be attending the event which supports and encourages young people to take part in positive social change. There was no mention of Meghan of attending. At the end of his speech, Prince Harry invited Meghan up on the stage, she didn’t speak, but during his speech Harry quoted one of Meghan’s favorite Martin Luther King quotes:

As my wife often reminds me with one of her favourite quotes by Martin Luther King Jr. – “Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that.”

I highly reccommend that you check out Prince Harry’s full speech, which you can read here.
