Today,
(June 14, 2018) The Duchess of Sussex accompanied Queen Elizabeth on several engagements in Chester. This marks her first solo engagement with the Queen! After an overnight trip on the Royal Train The Queen and Meghan arrived at Runcorn Railway Station, before heading to Mersey Gateway Bridge where they viewed the bridge and watched a performance from local school children. They also met with members of the community, and those involved with the building of the bridge. They next stopped at Storyhouse, which is a library, theatre and cinema. The Queen and Meghan received a tour of the building and watched several other performances from school children and those recovering from addiction. Afterwards The Queen and Meghan did a walkabout, meeting excited locals. Lastly, The Queen and Meghan attended a lunch at Chester Town Hall, where they were guests of the Chester City Council.
Meghan wore a custom made Givenchy Haute Couture outfit, designed by Clare Waight Keller.
Thanks to Emily I have added over 200 new pictures.
