Photos: February 13 – Prince Harry And Meghan Markle Visit Scotland

On (February 13, 2018) Prince Harry and Meghan Markle visited Scotland as part of their pre wedding tour. After a walkabout the duo visited Esplanade in front of the iconic Edinburgh Castle. Inside the castle, Prince Harry and Meghan observed the firing of the One O’Clock Gun. On their next stop, they visited Social Bite, a social business and café located in Edinburgh’s New Town. At the café, Harry and Meghan learned more about the social enterprise, went on a tour of the kitchen, and met staff. For their final stop the couple attended a reception at the Palace of Holyroodhouse to celebrate youth achievements. On (January 09, 2018) Meghan Markle and Prince Harry visited radio station Reprezent FM in Brixton to view their work supporting young people through creative training in radio and broadcasting, and to learn more about their model of using music, radio and media for social impact. Meghan received a very warm welcome from the crowd and seemed genuinely overwhelmed by the response. I have added 200+ HQ pictures to our gallery.

Photos: December 25 – Christmas Day Church Service At Sandringham

Merry Christmas, everyone! Today (December 25, 2017) Meghan Markle joined The Queen and the rest of The Royal Family for Christmas Day Service at the Church of St Mary Magdalene in Sandringham for the first time. Meghan’s appearance breaks tradition by being the first non member of the royal family to join the Christmas festivities. At the moment I have added 80 high quality photos to the gallery, enjoy!

Official Engagment Photos Released

Today, (December 21, 2017) Kensington Palace released two official photographs of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle from their formal engagement shoot. Shortly afterwards “as a way to say thank you” The Palace released one candid photo. The photographs were taken in Windsor, on the grounds of Frogmore House, an area the couple has previously stated as ‘a very special’ for the two of them. The photos were taken by fashion and celebrity photographer Alexi Lubomirski who said “It was an incredible honour to be asked to document this wonderful event, but also a great privilege to be invited to share and be a witness to this young couple’s love for one another. I cannot help but smile when I look at the photos that we took of them, such was their happiness together.” You can now view the photos in the gallery. Enjoy!

Photos: December 20 – Christmas Lunch At Buckingham Palace

Every year, on the Wednesday before Christmas, the Queen holds a pre-Christmas lunch at the palace, and it’s one of the more entertaining of the traditional royal events because, instead of seeing posed photos from inside the event, we only get a bunch of paparazzi shots of the various royals in their cars making their way into the palace. It’s sort of like the royal version of those photos taken of people as they careen down the track on an amusement park ride.

And this year’s photos are even more notable than they have been other years, as the event was attended by Meghan Markle. Markle, who is set to marry Prince Harry in May, presumably met many of the extended-family royals for the first time today, as more than 50 royals lunched with the Queen.

Markle wore a “high-necked lace dress” from the label Self-Portrait. She accompanied the look with some diamond drop earrings.

Who Is Meghan?

The Duchess of Sussex, born Meghan Markle, married Prince Harry at St George’s Chapel, Windsor in May 2018. The couple’s official residence is Kensington Palace. As well as undertaking royal duties in support of The Queen, both in the UK and overseas, The Duchess devotes her time to supporting a number of charities and organisations. From a young age, The Duchess had a keen awareness of social issues and actively participated in charitable work. Aged 11 she successfully campaigned for a company to alter their television advert that had used sexist language to sell washing-up liquid. Her Royal Highness also volunteered at a soup kitchen in Skid Row, Los Angeles from the age of 13-17. Smart Works

Smart Works is a UK charity that provides high quality interview clothes and interview training to unemployed women in need. Women are referred to Smart Works from organisations such as job centres, work programmes, prisons, care homes, homeless shelters and mental health charities.

Mayhew
Since: January 2019
Funded entirely by public donations Mayhew aims to promote animal welfare by delivering a broad range of community-based veterinary, care and education services in the UK and overseas. By recognizing that animal welfare issues and social welfare issues are linked Mayhew works to protect the bond vulnerable people, the elderly, the homeless and those suffering from mental health issues have with their animals. And by taking their educational initiatives out to the community they have a better chance of helping prevent cases of neglect, abandonment and cruelty.

The Queen’s Commonwealth Trust

The Queen’s Commonwealth Trust exists to champion, fund and connect young leaders around the world who are driving positive social change, serving their communities and providing hope, work and self-employment opportunities for others. Projects

‘Together: Our Community Kitchen’ Cookbook
After working with the women of Hubb Community Kitchen The Duchess of Sussex suggested the idea of a charity cookbook that celebrates the power of cooking to bring people together. Supported by The Royal Foundation and published by Penguin Random House companies, ‘Together: Our Community Kitchen’ showcases over 50 recipes from women whose community was affected by the Grenfell Tower fire. Since the Together cookbook has been published, it has sold 130,000 copies worldwide. The resulting funds means the kitchen has been completely refurbished and is now open seven days a week

Smart Works Charity Capsule Collection
After working quietly with Smart Works for over a year The Duchess became aware of the difficulty of matching up the perfect work attire due to a range of mismatched colors and sizing. It was revealed in July 2019 that Marks & Spencer, John Lewis & Partners, Jigsaw, and designer Misha Nonoo would team up together to design a capsule collection of work wear clothing for the underprivileged women trying to secure employment. They will follow the “one-for-one model” model where an item from the collection purchased is an item donated to the Smart Works Charity.
